Why is it a women only party? Can’t men participate in the women 2.0 cause?

Re Daniel: Men can definitely participate in the Women 2.0 cause, and we do welcome the support. Not all of our events are Women only, however, from time to time we do want to bring together only the women in the community to build those relationships.

We will be having a social at the end of June open to both men and women in SF (information to be posted later on). Hope to see you there!

It’s funny how the UK government is cracking down on men-only gatherings, but yet in America, women find it ok to hold women-only gatherings and not appear to be treating men as second class citizens.

    Congrats on your lovely party,

Looks like you had lots of fun from your pics and mingling over food and drinks can be so relaxing (more so without males :-).

I can see the only women invite as a good thing allowing women to be women and the chance to share experiances and bond, maybe for those men out there that can’t understand this you could be a control freak…lol.

Interaction allows us to know others care and we care for them, its a chance to be social and can be refreshing to our mind and body.

    Keep up the good work!

  1. […] So I went to my first Women 2.0 BBQ and it was pretty cool! I have met them in the past as I helped arrange a meeting space for them at AOL, but did not get a chance to go. Angie and Annie graciously opened up their house for us. The food was great, and the group was small enough to meet some cool folks. I met several women who own their own business or doing their own thing. I met Rochelle Kopp who has built Japan Intercultural Consulting which helps Japanese and American Businesses understand each other better. I was really impressed that she had built this thing herself and had connections all over the world, even in Mexico! It was encouraging and inpsiring. […]
